Great news!

Ok, this wouldn't be considered good news for everyone, but it is for me! I was allergy tested last week and it turns out I'm allergic to EVERYTHING! Well, not everything of course, but dogs, trees, grass, dust, etc. You get it - everything inside my house and outside! But at least now that we know, we can start trying to fix the problem!

Anyway, on to truly happy things. I flew into Baton Rouge on Saturday, May 12th to surprise Leslie for her baby shower. I was only there for the day and if I didn't see you, I'm sorry. But I got to be there for my little sister's first baby shower. She got gift cards mostly, but it was nice to see everyone in one place.

Next time, I'll have pictures of my knitting and finally some of the dogs! I know you've been dying to get those!

Our Second Year Begins....

Hi all-

As many of you know, we celebrated our first anniversary on April 29th. And May 12th started our second year in Oklahoma. I've started this blog so that everyone can know what's going on with us since we aren't always the best at keeping everyone updated. And since wild weather is frequent here, we don't want everyone freaking out when they hear OKC on the news. I know I received multiple calls after the last round of tornados and I wasn't even in Oklahoma - I was in Chicago on business!
