He'll show us

This weekend T is going to actually post about the restless nights of this week. Well, they have been restless for him. Apparently, between me and the dogs, he isn't sleeping very well. But the story I have today is about Rufus. Rufus has a dog bed that he likes to sleep in. And when he gets tired of it, he sleeps in Copper's bed. But his favorite place to sleep is curled up on our dirty clothes.

Well, because I'm the worst dog mother ever, there are currently no dirty clothes in the floor. He's had to sleep multiple nights either in his bed or on the bare carpet. I know, I should be reported to the ASPCA.

Night before last, I threw all the covers on the floor and T had to pick them up (or so he says). So this morning when I woke up, I asked if I had done better and he started griping about the dog taking the covers.

I didn't fully understand but just went on my merry way. Well, as merry as my way can be early in the morning. T sent me an instant message when he got to work and told me what our sweet Rufus did. Rufus decided he was going to make his own little pile on the floor to sleep in. So he pulled the covers off the bed and started to mat them down to make a little bed. T woke up and was, of course, completely aggravated.

I think the dogs slept the rest of the night outside. I think it's quite cute though. That will teach us to not throw our dirty laundry on the floor.
