I'm sure if you're from Louisiana, you've seen this type of list before. If you aren't, I should tell you that they just about all apply (if not to you, at least some parts of your family). I'll pause while you read it it.

Personally, #7 is why we got married in April (that and I like springtime). #28 is totally true. If you can pronounce AND spell my maiden name, then you are either a close friend or of French heritage. #10 is why using directions like north, south, east and west was completely foreign when we moved here. T still has issues with #25 even though we've been here almost 2 years.
And don't worry for those of you who visit from Louisiana, we have #13 imported to this foreign place!

I can honestly say that even though I'm a "yankee" from "Jersey", I've been lucky enough to have Community Coffee, knew what a "dressed" po-boy is, absolutely KNEW that you planned your wedding around LSU football (geaux tigers) even if you never actually admitted it, and, I've heard you use directionals like in #10 (and have asked you, "no, is it North or South?" in reply to said uses) and eventually gave in and started to understand where you were describing!!
I guess I was taught well by a true Louisianinan! ;)
