Last night there was a line of storms that moved through the metro area. It wasn't close to us, but it was too close for comfort to my friend Stephanie. We were actually at the Ford Center downtown watching the women's NCAA Sweet Sixteen. And the TV we had access to was showing the weather but it was all way west of us.
So when we drove home, we could tell it was looking bad. You also kind of feel it in the air. But when we got home, things seemed fine. Our radar was clear. We went to bed about midnight and things were fine.
The real bad stuff is supposed to be here Wednesday and Thursday. It's just that time of year. I need to get used to it and realize that most of the television I watch on network television will be pre-empted. That's fine, I guess. At least it's keeping some people safe. SIGH... so I guess it's worth it.

Hey, if you want perfect clear wonderful weather, maybe I should visit! I wanted to experience some TV preemptive worthy weather last year when I visited, and it was sunny out! So maybe a visit from a Jersey Girl is all it takes to have the sun shine and the birds sing....sigh.
It was too close for us!! We actually have damage in the neighborhood next to us. That's close dawg. :)
