I had hoped to post today about our mini-vacation that was tacked onto the end of my Annual Meeting for work, but not today. We came home yesterday to a sick Old Man. He's lethargic, only mildly responsive and having trouble breathing. He's now at the vet and I'm waiting to hear.
And no, we didn't leave the dogs alone the whole week. We had someone feeding them and he said that he was constantly running, barking and playing. So we aren't really sure what's wrong.
I'm trying to be positive, but I know he's old. And I guess I'm having to face facts that even if he is ok this time, he won't be around forever. I'm not sure what I'll do when that actually happens.

She can't wait to see him this summer! Have the dogs ever been around a baby???
Oh Nice Slady!!! I'm so sorry Rufus isn't well... I'll hope for the best and hope that he gets better soon (and is back to bullying the rest of the crew in no time)!
