It's Monday...

...and since Monday's are usually blah for me, I thought I'd share a few pictures that I've had on my camera for the last 2 or 3 months. I took this picture and immediately thought, "This is what fly heaven must look like!"

But really, it's just my first peony of the season! I was quite excited to have some blooms form at the end of April. And the day after I took these pictures, we had a huge rain storm and hail, which pelted this guy to smithereens, but at least I got to enjoy the beauty and fragrance for a couple of days. Our whole front entry way smelled of these few flowers.

I do have a lot more pictures on my camera and have really been avoiding downloading them because my last pictures of Rufus are on there. But I finally did download them and while seeing pictures of him playing made me happy knowing he played up until the end, I was also just overcome with sadness that I thought I was passed.

These pictures were taken 2 and half weeks before he passed away. And I know the playing ones are blurry, but the Old Man rarely stopped moving!
