On the DL

I've been knitting a lot the last couple of nights. I finished a Christmas project over the weekend, which is good since I'm already ahead of the game (at least for now). I've also started on another project that I wasn't planning on but am happy to do. My grandmother requested something for my great aunt for Christmas and I'm happy to oblige.

Who knew Nicole Knitted Christmas Gifts were the hot ticket for the holidays?

So all day today, my arm has slowly been hurting more and more. And of course it's the arm attached to my bad shoulder (thank you, big time car accident). I didn't think too much about it but was trying to stretch it out like I've been instructed to in the past.

I stopped by my friend's salon to notarize something for her (Yep, I'm a notary. Impressive, huh? Yeah, not really.) I mention my bum arm and she starts a little massage on my shoulder and quickly finds a large source of pain in my arms, not my actual shoulder. She asks, "do you do any low motion repetitive motion?" My response? "DUH!" Well, that's not really what I said but what I was thinking since I've knit stuff for her too.

Anyway, so she gave me stretches and we worked on it and it felt better. I get home, eat dinner and settle in for some evening knitting. And then it hit me.... the pain.... the dull aching pain...

So I put it down and have been joying the Wednesday night lineup of season finales. Let's just say, I'd rather be knitting....
