With the loss of Rufus, it's understandable that Copper hasn't quite been her self for the last week and some change. She hasn't eaten very much and has been real patient and sweet with B. And for those of you who know her, well, that's not like Copper. She didn't earn a reputation as a biatch for no reason.
She could NOT stand Rufus when he first came to us. And with reason, all he wanted was to be petted and loved on and included (much like B currently is). And although she didn't want to petted and loved on, she didn't want any other dog to be so either. It's her world and we just live in it, or so she thought. Rufus quickly changed all of that. And after years of being together, she came to love him when he would tackle her to play even if she was giving him the "I hate you" glare.
The more B comes inside and is included in things, the more Copper reverts to her old self. In fact, last night she was downright feisty and biatch like. So while the nice, sweet, lovable dog is a joy to have around, it's just not Copper. We're glad to have her back - warts and all.

Copper has warts?!?!?!?! That's grosser than Jamie's eye.
I can't handle a white background with pale pink lettering.
I feel like I'm surfing through a fluffy, cotton-candy cloud that was dipped in Pepto-Bismol...and it's not a good feeling.
Well, it's lighter than when I picked it, but DUDE, chill out!
Better? geez!
