201

I was just given the directive to blog about something because Stephanie is "so over the cups." Which is funny coming from the person who blogs even less than I do! And frankly, I might make my crystal punch cups my new background because, they really are fabulous. But I digress.

My friend Cathy is coming to visit for Labor Day weekend and I'm extremely excited. She sent me her airline itinerary yesterday via email. I read it and replied to that email with this phrase:

WOOT! CATHY WOOD, Y'ALL! CATHY WOOD, Y'ALL!
I know it doesn't make much sense to you, but Cathy would know what I'm talking about it. A few minutes later I get an email from Orbitz Customer Service letting me know that they had received my email and would respond within 24 hours to my question. Yep, turns out I sent my nonsense phrase to Orbitz, not Cathy.

About two hours later, Kevin in the Customer Service department sent me an email.
Thank you for contacting Orbitz. I have received this e-mail and believe that you may have intended it to be delivered to someone else. I would like to make sure that your correspondence reaches the intended parties.

If this email was intended for customer service, we are unsure of your question.

Sincerely,
Kevin
Orbitz TLC Team

Apparently, my nonsense email didn't make sense to Kevin. Which makes me feel a little better, actually. I would hate for my inside joke with Cathy to be widely understood.

Brilliant! Hey I blogged TWICE in one day yesterday...take that. :)

Love the story, really it is classic.

I must beg of you to not offer the punch bowls up as the background/wallpaper/whatever for your blog. Lovely as they may be the pink is killing my eyes. :)

Your dear friend,
Steph

I've done the same thing to Orbitz. Not sure if it was Kevin who replied to me or not.
