Doodle is 5 months old today. On Friday, she weighed 16 lbs 13 ozs. I'm not sure how long she is. She is working really hard on rolling over. She's done it once but she's trying to master it completely on her own now. She gets 3/4ths of the way over and her arm kind of catches her and she's not sure where to go from there.
When she is on her stomach, her legs are moving 100 mph trying to get up underneath her body and push off. I think once she finally does start moving around, we'll be running after her constantly.
She scoots all over the bed. I have no idea how she gets in some positions. But sometimes her head is on the opposite side of the bed from where she started.
She's also discovering her feet. She kicks constantly (fun for Momma and Daddy) and loves to stick her legs straight up in the air. And she's just now starting to grab at them.
She's making new sounds all the time and "talks" half of our commute. She also likes to talk to Bubby (bear) in the bed in the mornings. And when she's ready for us, she yells. Not a scream or a cry... just a yell. Like "hhhheeeeyyyy... I'm reaaaaadddddyyyyy!" And she yells until she hears the hall light flip on. Then she's all smiles and quietness by the time we look over the rail. She gives you that "Who? Me? I was being completely quiet, I promise!" smile.
We still don't have our school picture proofs back yet. I ask at least once a week. I'm sure they are tired of that, but it doesn't hurry anything along. The school pics are also her 4 month portraits. We took our 5 month portraits yesterday and I think we are going to get those back first! (UPDATE: We did get the 5 month pics back first and they are now in this post.)
I'll also update our October pictures at some point. And when I do, I'll, of course, update the link here. Now I need to finish cleaning the kitchen. Bottles don't wash themselves!

What a gorgeous family, if I DO say so myself! Fall is my favorite time of the year. Isn't technology wonderful? BIG
