A Griswald Kind of Christmas

I don't have the energy right now for a full recap of our Christmas Vacation this year.  Let's just say that we had to keep telling ourselves that we'll laugh about it in a couple of years.  There aren't many pictures.  If it wasn't Caroline's first Christmas, I might say it would be better that way.  But given the circumstances and not having a camera other than my phone, we are low on pictures.  I do have a couple that I'm sharing below.

The pictures above were at Nanny Carolyn's on Christmas Eve.  Below we are at Waffle House on Christmas Day.  She was much more interested in the menu than in posing for a picture.  She wanted her hashbrowns scattered, covered and chunked.

But given all of our travel delays and sicknesses, at least we weren't like these people.  You can't really tell, but this new SUV stranded on the side of the interstate has a big red bow on top of it.  I think someone went without a gift this Christmas!!
