Welcome to my freak out

My boss said last week, "oh my!  We only have a week left before you leave for the holidays!"  My response with a straight face, "Welcome to my freak out."

There seems to be an endless number of things to do before we leave for Louisiana.  I feel like we've made decent headway this weekend but didn't get nearly accomplished what we needed to.  And now I'm on the computer, so I've my priorities straight, I think.

I've got almost all the laundry washed, but not put away.  Please ignore Mt. Washmore in my living room.  There aren't any dishes in the sink thanks to T.  The Christmas cards are stuffed, addressed, stamped and ready to go.  And I've got almost all the presents that I have wrapped.

What's left you ask?  Just a week of work, combined with several doctors appointments, Christmas program at school, packing, finishing the Christmas shopping and cleaning the house so we don't come home to mess.  And we've got three days to do it all.  No problem!

Christmas programs at school? Is she singing a solo? :-)

She might decide to sing along. She will occassionally burst into song like her mother.
